Preparation Delicious Chicken Pot Pie

 


My grandmother often makes wonderful dishes, but this food is a special case because its taste is not like the rest of the dishes and we always ask her to make it for us because it is easy to make and very tasty and its ingredients are widely available in every home. Be sure that if you taste it once, you will make it every time

Ingredients :

 2 pie crusts ( either store bought or your own recipe)
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup half-and-half
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup carrot, diced
1 cup celery, diced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup onion, diced
4 cups chicken, cooked and chopped
1/3 cup melted margarine

Direction:

Preheat stove to 400°F. Saute onion, celery, carrots and potatoes in margarine for 10 minutes. 

Add flour to sauteed blend, mixing admirably, cook brief mixing continually. 

Consolidate stock and cream. Progressively mix into vegetable blend. 

Cook over medium hotness mixing continually until thickened and effervescent. Mix in salt and pepper; add chicken and mix well. 

Fill shallow 2 quart meal dish and top with pie shells. 

Prepare 30-40 minutes or until hull is brilliant and flaky
